Bormio Bike Park is a project born in the spring of 2012 led by Società Impianti Bormio in collaboration with Comunità Montana Alta Valtellna, the local City Halls of Bormio and Valdisotto, and Bormio Valtellina MTB School. Our goal is to build an equipped bike arena with trails of different disciplines such as cross country, downhill and freeride for all levels, from beginner to pro.
The summer of 2014 was the real turning point with the offer of downhill trails and a qualified mountain bike rentalGli istruttori mtb di Bormio al bike park

The bike park is open everyday and served by three lifts: the cableway Bormio-Bormio 2000, the chairlift Bormio 2000-Cimino and the cablecar “Whitelady3000”. It stretches on an incredible vertical drop, from 3,012 m to 1,225 m. The Mt. Vallecetta, where our lifts are located, offers a wide set of itineraries: more than 50 km of cross country trails like mule tracks, farm roads and single trails – ideal for your family adventures or for those who like to take it easy.

From the peak you can take a wonderful freeride trail on the opposite side, within the Stelvio National Park, passing by the Profa lakes and the Sobretta valley and reaching Santa Caterina Valfurva. The trails are all mapped by the official signposts and available online too on www.maps.altavaltellina.eu.

The downhill trails, built from the summer 2014, reach out from Cima Bianca (3,012 m) to Bormio 2000 (1,952 m). Fun is guaranteed with jumps, natural and artificial obstacles, steep slopes and drops on two main itineraries and other variations of different difficulties. The mountain bike rental, located in Bormio by the bottom station of the cableway, is run by our qualified staff to guarantee yourself a terrific mtb day in total safety. On September 13-14, 2014 Bormio Bike hosted the prestigious final of the National Downhill Circuit Gravitalia with a special track built for the occasion.
