Summer lifts in Bormio: open from 25 June 2022

The summer season of Società Impianti Bormio will start from tomorrow, August 1, 2014!
The available lifts open will be: the cableway Bormio-Bormio 2000 (open everyday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm) and the cablecar “Whitelady3000″ (Bormio 2000-Cima Bianca open everyday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. run every half an hour).
Reaching the peak of our lifts means getting in touch with nature and discover the unlimited beauty of the Stelvio National Park’s landscapes. The summer 2014 will also launch S.I.B. into the Italian gravity panorama with the inauguration of a new project called Bormio Bike. “The bike park at 3,000 meters” – that’s how our motto goes – a bike arena built along an incredible vertical drop, about 1,800 meters, served by mtb itineraries of different disciplines such as cross country, freeride and downhill.
The big news of 2014 is represented by the creation of downhill trails which will officially be open from August 9. We are still currently working on the tracks and as the weather is getting nicer the ground is getting dry and this will allow us to shape at best all the lines. On the last weekend of the season, September 13-14, our downhill trails will be playing a main role by hosting the Grand Finale of the Italian Downhill Champs.
From tomorrow you will also find open the brand new Bormio Bike mtb rental shop situated by the bottom station of the cableway. Our qualified staff will always be available to fix your bike and guarantee yourself a day in total safety. Our rental is equipped with Diamondback downhill mtbs and Axo helmets and protective clothing.
